Privacy Policy

Effective [7/31/2026] · Last updated 7/31/2026]

Crossmark Realty (“Crossmark Realty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through crossmarkrealty.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using this website, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to information collected through our website, our online forms, and communications you have with us in connection with the site. It also covers information we collect when you contact us about buying, selling, renting, or listing a property.

It does not apply to information collected offline outside of a website interaction, or to third-party websites and services that we link to but do not control.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
You may choose to give us information when you fill out a contact or inquiry form, request a home valuation, schedule a showing, save a property search, create an account, subscribe to updates, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include:

Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
Property preferences — price range, locations, number of bedrooms, timeline
Information about a property you own or are interested in
Financing information you volunteer, such as whether you are pre-approved
The content of messages you send us
Please do not send us Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or other sensitive financial details through website forms or unencrypted email. If that information is needed during a transaction, we will tell you how to provide it securely.

Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

IP address and general location derived from it
Browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages viewed, listings viewed, time spent, and links clicked
The referring website or search term that brought you here
Dates and times of your visits
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from multiple listing services, real estate data providers, advertising partners, lead referral services, and our brokerage or franchise affiliates, and combine it with information we already hold.

3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:

Respond to your inquiries and provide real estate brokerage services
Send you listings, market updates, and property alerts you have asked for
Match you with an agent and follow up about your search or sale
Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website
Analyze how visitors use the site so we can make it more useful
Advertise our services, including through targeted online advertising
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
Comply with legal, regulatory, and real estate licensing obligations, including recordkeeping requirements
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share it in the following ways:

Agents and staff. With the licensed agents and employees of Crossmark Realty who are helping you.
Service providers. With vendors who work on our behalf — website hosting, CRM and lead management, email and text messaging platforms, analytics, e-signature, and advertising services.
Transaction participants. Where relevant to a transaction you are pursuing: cooperating brokers and agents, lenders, title and escrow companies, home inspectors, appraisers, attorneys, and insurers.
Multiple listing services and affiliates. With the MLS, associations of REALTORS®, and our brokerage or franchise affiliates as required by our membership and agreements.
Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
Some sharing for advertising and analytics purposes may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain state laws. See State privacy rights for how to opt out. We do not share or sell consumer personal information

5. Property listings and MLS data
Listing information displayed on this site may be provided through an Internet Data Exchange (IDX) feed or similar arrangement with one or more multiple listing services. That data is owned by the MLS and its participants, is provided for consumers’ personal, non-commercial use, and may not be reproduced, redistributed, or scraped.

Listing data is believed to be reliable but is not guaranteed accurate and should be independently verified. If you list a property with us, information about that property — including photographs and property details — will be published to the MLS, syndicated portals, and other public sources, and may remain publicly available after the listing closes.

Crossmark Realty is committed to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity. We do not use personal information to steer clients toward or away from neighborhoods on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.

6. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies — including pixels, tags, and local storage — to keep the site working properly, remember your preferences and saved searches, measure traffic, and support advertising.

Type What it does
Essential Required for the site to function — page navigation, form submission, security. These cannot be turned off.
Preference Remembers settings such as saved searches, favorites, and your login state.
Analytics Helps us understand which pages and listings are visited so we can improve the site.
Advertising Used by us and our partners to show relevant ads and measure their performance.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working. Our site [DOES / DOES NOT] respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by law.

7. Calls, texts, and email
When you submit your phone number through a form on this site, you agree that Crossmark Realty and its agents may contact you at that number about your inquiry, including by phone call and text message, and that automated dialing or prerecorded messages may be used. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of buying or selling property.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message; reply HELP for assistance. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message. We may still send you transactional messages about an active inquiry or transaction.

Mobile phone numbers and consent to receive text messages are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

8. Your choices and rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:

Ask us what personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
Ask us to delete information, subject to records we are required to keep
Unsubscribe from marketing emails and text messages
Adjust cookie settings in your browser
To make a request, contact us using the details in the Contact us section. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9. State privacy rights
Residents of certain states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others with comprehensive privacy laws — may have additional rights, such as the right to know the categories of personal information collected and disclosed, the right to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right to appeal a denied request.

To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below with the subject line “Privacy Request.” You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of that authorization.

If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general’s office.

If you are outside the United States
This site is intended for users in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections, access controls, and vendor review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use care when sending sensitive information by email.

Real estate transactions are a frequent target of wire fraud. We will never send you wire instructions or changes to wire instructions by email. Always verify payment instructions by phone using a number you have independently confirmed.

11. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and for our legitimate business purposes. Transaction and brokerage records are retained for the period required by North Carolina real estate license law and other applicable regulations, which may be several years after a transaction closes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

12. Children’s privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party sites
Our site may link to third-party websites, including lender sites, listing portals, mapping services, school rating services, and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
